About the Campaign
In celebration of Earth Day in 2025, Modern Wanderer teamed up with SUTE to re-launch their “it’s not radical to want a liveable planet” upcycled sweater with 15% of proceeds being donated to SUTE. The sweaters are made from 100% upcycled material – because the most sustainable clothing is the clothing that already exists.
About the Artist
For most of human history, our hands have woven stories into cloth. Our garments were once vessels of care and ritual stitched with love and dyed with the magic of plants. But today, the fashion industry feels worlds away from those roots.
At Modern Wanderer, we long to return to a slower time, where clothing is born of the earth and gently returns to it. With pieces that are handcrafted with care and intention, using only natural fibres and natural dyes. Each one is a love letter to the natural world, made by hand, and coloured by the quiet rhythms of the seasons.
